Twenty20 World Cup 2010

Cricket has comes a long way from test cricket to T20 Cricket. After a long period of test cricket, in 1971 the first One day international was played. This was the begining of shortened version of Cricket.

T20 is also an innovation of England and Wales Cricket Board. First official Twenty20 match was played on June 13, 2003 between England counties. cricket give hight of popularization to cricket.After success of first season of T20 in England Domestic, its spread all over the world. All other cricket playing nation start this new version of the game.

The first T20 international match played on 17 Feb., 2005 between Australia and New Zealand at Eden Park, Auckland. After that, India played its first match against South Africa on 1 Dec., 2006 at Johannesburg. India won this match by 6 wicket.

T20 World Cup 2007
After a good response of T20 cricket, in 2007, it was time for the T20 World Cup. World Cup was played in South Africa in September 2007. Twelve (10 Test Playing Nation, Kenya & Scotland) teams took part in this world cup.This world cup final was played between India and Pakistan. Finaly, young Indian team won this World Cup.


T20 World Cup 2009
T20 World Cup 2009 was played in England in June 2009. Twelve (10 Test Playing Nation, Kenya & Scotland) teams took part in this world cup.This world cup final was played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Finaly, Pakistan team won this World Cup.

T20 World Cup 2010
T20 World Cup 2010 will be played in West Indies in April-May 2010. Twelve Teams will be take part in this World Cup.
